1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to anyone who visits drivetir.com, signs the supporter list, requests the proposal packet, requests a founder meeting, or otherwise interacts with DriveTir Inc. ("DriveTir," "we," "us") through this website. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What DriveTir is — and isn't — right now
DriveTir is currently a concept and a proposal. The product described on the site (License Plate Alerts, Driver Registration, The Open Window) is a phased roadmap. It is not yet a live consumer product. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that any specific feature will be built, deployed in any specific city, or available by any specific date. Anything that looks like a date or a milestone is a goal, not a promise.
DriveTir is also not a substitute for legal advice, law enforcement, or emergency services. If you are in danger, call 911. If you have a legal question about a traffic stop or any other interaction, talk to a lawyer.
3. Using the site
You agree to use drivetir.com in a way that doesn't:
- Submit false names, fake email addresses, or signatures on behalf of someone who didn't authorize it.
- Try to break, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the site, or get around any security measures.
- Use the site to harass anyone, including the founder, the team, or other supporters.
- Use anything you find on the site (copy, design, photos, video) for commercial purposes without our written permission.
4. The supporter list
When you sign the movement, you are voluntarily adding your name to a public record of people who want DriveTir to exist. The full rules are in the Privacy Policy, but the headline is: we will only display your first name, last initial, and city publicly, and only if you check the consent box. You can have your name removed at any time by emailing info@drivetir.com.
5. Content on the site
All content on drivetir.com — text, design, logos, photos, video, graphics, the "DriveTir" name, the shield mark, and the slogans — is the property of DriveTir Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may share links to the site freely. You may not copy or republish substantial portions without our written permission. Press inquiries are welcome at info@drivetir.com.
6. Third-party services
This site uses Formspree to handle form submissions, Netlify to host the site, and Google Analytics for anonymized site stats. Each of those companies has its own terms and privacy policy. We do our best to choose providers that respect user data, but their conduct is ultimately their own.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it accurate, secure, and online, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate at every moment. To the maximum extent the law allows, DriveTir disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, DriveTir Inc., its founder, and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this site — including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or anything that happens because the site was temporarily unavailable. Your total possible recovery is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). If you live somewhere this kind of cap is illegal, the cap doesn't apply to you.
9. Changes
We may update these terms over time as the product and the company grow. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights as a supporter, we will give notice on the homepage and, where it makes sense, by email to people on the supporter list.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by a good-faith conversation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
11. Contact
Questions, concerns, or anything that feels off, write us at info@drivetir.com. A real person — usually the founder — will answer.
